Excellent! My Son was in his way home from the military and his clutch went out, miles away from home. Several mechanics have us the wrong info and tried to rip us off. I called Gene and immediately he knew exactly what I was talking about. He treated me with up most respect and not like others mechanics. He was professional, curteos and was Able to give me quotes and the best price right from the there. And because of our time frame and my son needing to return to base, he was proficient and understanding. I will never forget his manor and will for sure go back. Thank you Gene! Never forget.

I was visiting Kingsport, driving from Greenville, SC, to pick up my dogs from a boarding kennel. My Infiniti FX45 had a malfunction about 30 miles outside of Kingsport. I called Gene who promised to look at my car the next day. He and his team were able to diagnose the problem and order the part. Within a couple of hours, the dogs and I were on the road safely driving home. Gene is an excellent mechanic. He and his team have integrity and, true to the name, it was a very affordable repair. He is a huge dog lover so he appreciated the precious passengers I was taking home. I would highly recommend Affordable Engines and Transmissions for all your repair needs. Put a rod through my block on a 2006 Chevy Uplander. Shop was very helpful in finding different choices of motors and quick on repairs couldn’t be more happy with their service or quality of work at a very reasonable price. Thanks guys
